Dr. Dubrovskaya has almost 40 years of experience in surveys on constructions, tests on materials, and conservation recommendations on a variety of architectural monuments of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan. Dr. Dubrovskaya has extensive practical experience in the region of Central Asia for what concerns conservation design and implementation, on-site training, and capacity building in conservation techniques and materials.
She is an author of a number of publications on conservation, historic structures, condition and risk assessment, and temperature and humidity measurements.

He was dealing with the rehabilitation and restoration of urban heritage in Kazakhstan and was awarded several architectural prizes. Dr. Tokmagambetov took part in several of architectural expeditions to South and Central Kazakhstan and contributed to compendiums of historical and cultural monuments. As a research consultant, he worked on documentary films, developed educational programs and explored new tourism routes and destinations.
Between 2008 and 2021 he held the position of the Deputy General Director in “Kazrestoration” State Enterprise under the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Mr. Khaitov’s core activities are the design of buildings and structures, the creation of space-planning solutions, and the interior design of residential and non-residential premises (since 2016). Mr. Khaitov’s core activities are the design of buildings and structures, the creation of space-planning solutions, and the interior design of residential and non-residential premises (since 2016). In addition, he has been actively involved in the research and preservation of historic buildings and urban heritage. Mr. Khaitov continues cooperating with both local and international experts and practitioners in the field of architecture and heritage. The joint research initiatives aim at mahalla (Central Asian traditional neighborhood) conservation and rehabilitation. He holds a Master of Architecture degree from Tashkent University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (2018) His thesis topic was Adaptation of Mahalla in the structures of multi-story residential buildings.
His experience in heritage studies, conservation, and management includes an international project sponsored by the Volkswagen Foundation aimed at researching the topography of architectural monuments in Tashkent (2017-2019). He is a co-author of the book "Architectural Monuments in Tashkent", which was published in 2022 as the outcome of the study. In 2012-2014, he successfully completed a professional training course offered by the Uzbek-German Center for Architecture and Construction, created in cooperation with Otto Friedrich University of Bamberg, Dresden Technical University, Potsdam University of Applied Sciences, Bauhaus University in Weimar, Tashkent University of Architecture and Civil Engineering and Samarkand University of Architecture and Civil Engineering. He was a participant in the research summer school in Samarkand focused on research and preservation of the Kozi Abdurasul mosque along Sozangaron Street (2013). He received a DAAD scholarship to attend the summer academy at Dresden Technical University (2014).
